The Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children's Fund was formed in 2002 by founding member Francis Dunnery. The charity was created in honor of both his parents, Charlie and Kathleen, with the sole aim of raising funds for children's health, wellness and educational needs in and around his hometown of Egremont, Cumbria.

Since its inception in 2002, The Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children’s Fund charity has raised over £70,000. Charity donations have been used to purchase hospital beds and entertainment units for children's oncology wards, construct libraries, build gardens, purchase educational supplies for local schools in Cumbria.......and much, much more.

The Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children's Fund is a truly unique organization in that it has no paid members. All operations, including legal, accounting, promotional and administrative duties, are performed on a strictly volunteer basis meaning your donations go directly to children in need!

CKDCF fundraising is centered around two main events, which take place annually in Cumbria, England. These events typically take place in July and October. Fundraising activities include Sponsored Walks, Golf Tournaments, Pop Quizzes, Celebrity Auctions, and Musical Concerts. Our supporters travel from far and wide to be apart of these incredible weekends. There is literally something for everyone of every age, so please join in! Visit our Events page to view upcoming events.

The Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children's Fund continues to grow in support and recognition each year which could not be achieved without the wonderful support we receive from around the world. The CKDCF staff would like to sincerely thank everyone who has contributed to the fund and we hope that you will continue to offer support for this worthy cause.
