THANK YOU FROM ALL OF US: Staff and pupils from Bookwell school are over the moon after receiving a £3,000 gift from the Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children's Fund. Mark Andrews, right who runs the fund for musician Francis Dunnery presented head teacher Gary Postlethwaite with the money which comes from two fund raising weekends last July and October.

In July there was a golf tournament, auction of memorabilia and a hfgjh with a concert, sponsored walk around Ennerdale and a five-a-side football tournament in October. The school are going to use the money to landscape areas of the school grounds during this school year
