A CHARITY gig in aid of the Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children’s Fund will see plenty of musical talent take to the stage.

At Rosehill Theatre on Sunday, July 15, local lads John and Wayne will be headlining.

It is the day before John Dunnery (Francis Dunnery’s nephew) and Wayne Wilkinson set off to record their second album together with the former It Bites frontman.

The duo also do a major local gig every October with Francis headlining to raise money for the charity set up in memory of his parents.

John and Wayne have just finished a tour supporting Rita Coolidge and they have recently been gigging in New York with Francis.

Support on the night will be from Dorie Jackson, who sings with Francis (and John and Wayne).

Her debut album is just being finished, produced by Francis, who will accompany her on guitar.

Tickets for the night are £15/£12 concession for OAPS and children.
