The Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children's Fund is gearing up for our Annual Fundraising Weekends! Our well-known Summer and Fall events are a ton of fun for everyone and are also a fantastic way to help raise money for children's health and wellness. The dates and event listings are posted below for each event. Please remember that event tickets usually sell out fast, so please keep checking back for ticket details.


Our Annual Summer Benefit Weekend will take place in Cumbria, England on Friday, June 24th 2011. Fundraising events include a Friday Evening Charity Night at The Ship Launch. Please see below for initial event details!

FRIDAY, JUNE 24th, 2011 - 7:00 PM Join Francis Dunnery and friends for our annual Charity Night! Meet at The Ship Launch at 7:00 PM for a Pop Quiz, Raffle, Celebrity Auction, Dutch Auction and Jammin' session with John & Wayne and M.T. Arms. The Annual CKDCF October Benefit Weekend will take place Friday, October 21st through Sunday, October 23rd 2011 in Cumbria, England. Please join us for a Friday Night Welcome Dinner, Saturday Morning Table Tennis Tournament, Saturday Night Benefit Concert and Sunday Morning Sponsored Walk to raise funds for children's health and wellness. FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2011 – 7:00 PM Welcome Dinner at The Summergrove Hall Hensingham, Whitehaven, Cumbria CA28 8XZ Join us for a delicious meal followed by musical entertainment with Aquarian Nation Artists John & Wayne and many other special guests. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2011 - 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM CKDCF Table Tennis Competition at The Whitehaven Sports Centre Flatt Walks, Whitehaven, Cumbria CA28 7RJ The CKDCF will sponsor our annual Table Tennis Competition at the Whitehaven Sports Centre. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2011 - 7:30 PM CKDCF Benefit Concert at The Egremont Market Hall Market Street, Egremont Cumbria CA22 2DF The Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children's Fund annual fundraiser is being hailed as the 'Aquarian Nation Music Festival' as every artist signed to the Aquarian Nation record label will be performing on the same stage. Ex Bites frontman Francis Dunnery, Squeeze singer Chris Difford, Hootie and the Blowfish drummer James Sonefeld, ex Cult and Zodiac Mindwarp guitarist Stephen Harris, vocalist Dorie Jackson, local Cumbrian heroes John and Wayne and John Gilmore Smith. How to Get to Bowness Knott Car park: From Cockermouth, take the A5086 towards Egremont. At Lamplugh take the minor road to Ennerdale Bridge. In Ennerdale Bridge, turn left for Croasdale and "The Lake." Follow the road until it ends at Bowness Knott Car Park. Important Note:* If you have small children, have difficulty walking long distances or have a handicap, it's best to walk the first half or part of the walk and then turn back to the car park as the terrain in the latter part of the walk is slightly more difficult to navigate.
