OCTOBER BENEFIT WEEKEND 2008  
  The Annual CKDCF October Weekend will take place Friday, October 24 through Sunday, October 26, 2008 in Cumbria, England. Please join us for a Friday Night Welcome Dinner, Saturday Morning Golf Competition, & Auction, Saturday Evening Benefit Concert, and a Sunday Morning Sponsored Walk to raise funds for children’s health and wellness.   FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2008 – 7:00 PM
Welcome Dinner at
The Summergrove
Join us for a delicious meal followed by musical entertainment with Aquarian Nation Artists' John & Wayne and Miss Dorie Jackson. Other special musical guests will be announced shortly. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2008 – 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Golf competition at
Seascale Golf Club
Tee-off times between 7:30 AM and 12 noon
Four Ball, Better Ball Stableford, Nearest Pin and Straightest Drive
Prize table for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th
Entry fee £15 per team for Seascale Golf Club Members / E
ntry fee £15 per person for non-members

 
  Don’t play golf? Take part by joining us for a delicious purchased lunch at Seascale Golf Club. We will also have prize winning raffles and auction items. Please email golf@ckdcf.org for more information or if you would like to participate.  
  PLEASE NOTE DRESS CODE: No trainers or jeans in golf clubhouse or on grounds.

CKDCF Annual Sponsored Walk around Ennerdale Lake
 
  Please come and join us at 10:00 AM at Bowness Knott carpark* for a pre-walk purchased breakfast and sign-in.  All participants should bring their Official Sponsorship Forms for event registration. Please download your Official CKDCF Sponsored Walk Form.pdf here.  
 

*How to Get to Bowness Knott Carpark:
From Cockermouth, take the A5086 towards Egremont. At Lamplugh take the minor road to Ennerdale Bridge. In Ennerdale Bridge, turn left for Croasdale and "The Lake." Follow the road until it ends at Bowness Knott Car Park.
